The Generator series are creative sonic tools.

Call me crazy, but I've always wanted some simple sound generating / noise making devices that could exist easily among other pedals for guitar/bass/keyboard/etc players. There are many builds of similar devices for tabletop or eurorack use, but many are in more fragile enclosures and would require a/b pedals or other routing to work in a guitar set up - all of which takes up more space, adds to the expense, and simply isn't that practical.

When engaged the input signal is muted and the Generator pedal takes over. When disengaged the Generator pedal is true bypass and has no effect on your tone.

GENERATOR 7

A light sensitive theremin? A noise box you can control with your foot while still holding an instrument? GENERATOR 7 can be those things...

FREQUENCY 1
The oscillator on the left side of the pedal is always on. It has a toggle switch for three different frequency ranges which can help with varying light sources and target different frequency ranges.

FREQUENCY 2
The oscillator in the middle of the pedal can be turned off (toggle switch in the center position), for classic single Oscillator sounds like a theremin. The toggle also provides two frequency range options, which can either match the first oscillator (pseudo-doubling), or be set to a different range for varying weirdness.

STARVE
The toggle switch on the right side of the pedal determines if the STARVE function is controlled by the knob above it (toggle up) OR the light sensor below it (toggle down). The sensor and the knob are never both active at the same time. Just one or the other, of your choosing. With the STARVE knob in control, and turned all the way down, the oscillators receive full power. As the knob is turned up, power is reduced. With the STARVE sensor in control, the oscillators are always starved to some amount, and the less light it receives, the less power gets to the oscillators. If you cover the sensor you can effectively mute the output, allowing for stutter effects, etc.
